Tim Krabbe's sequel to 'The Rider'?

Postby the other Steve Dennis » Thu Dec 02, 2010 4:34 am

Hi All.

Think I may be delusional but I remembered reading something somewhere about Tim Krabbe just publishing the sequel to 'The Rider' 25 years after he wrote the original.
So I went and posted about it on someone else's blog and now I am being inundated by people looking for more details.
The trouble is I just can't find reference to it anywhere. My wife even remembers me telling her about it.

Anyone over there in Blighty know anything?

Can't believe some of you fellows are riding out in the blizzards, be safe. We had our fist taste of snow here today, about a month late.
But it's already been -8 (British) here and we have 4 months to go!

Cheers,

Steve

If you do discover anything do tell, The Rider is a fantastic book. I thought the other books he'd written were of his other passion, chess.

Nothing more about cycling as far as I know, but The Vanishing and The Cave are well worth a read.
