Postby Amy » Thu Jan 06, 2011 2:44 pm

Anybody driving who could give me a lift to Selsdon Park Hotel from Hackbridge?

Happy to donate towards petrol otherwise it's a full price cab there and back.

PM me or reply here. Text or email me if you have my details already.

Ta v much

Can't help because a) I don't live out that way any more and b) won't be driving anyway as I instead to get totally trousered. But it might be an idea for people to post up front where they need to get back to afterwards to aid coordination and sharing of carriages. These things are notoriously difficult to arrange on the night, when one is in one's cups.

I'll go first - I'll need to get back to Bromley/Shortlands.

PS Can't you get some combo of train/tram/bus there, Amy?

No, the link doesn't work, but I get your point. I'm slightly nervous about getting public transport across Croydon on a Saturday night in black tie myself. Certainly won't be doing it at chucking-out/-up time.

Takes over an hour and involves at least 2 changes between means of transport and some walking - and I'll be on my own.
