[quote="marco"]Jon knows I'm behind him 100% and I'm very excited that a lot of the energy we had back in 2000 and the early days of the Agreeable rebranding is back. I think he may even be nominating me as a VC!!

Cool - there will be no shortage of seconders for that I'm sure

[quote="marco"]Some of you will know I've taken a bit of flack during the summer from some quarters for standing up and suggesting a few changes

You are a great encourager - it's a shame about some of what's happened - and it's in the past and things are looking :D 8) :D for sure

[quote="marco"]On a more pleasing note thanks to all the organisers and helpers for putting together another top notch dinner and it was nice to see so many old faces back in one place again.

Absolutely - that long room has a nice vibe when it's packed with friends eh

I didn't hear any heckling last nick apart from the usual welsh accent

Jons speech was pretty inspirational stuff and as a club we are so luck to actually have two class acts who both wanted to become captain, its a credit to both Snoop and Jon.

Theres only one direction were going and thats to the top!

Feedback from the women on our table was that it was an agreeable evening and they would come again :D great to see John Lovell back and presenting the Lovell trophy.

Thanks everyone who made it a super event last night.

Nice evening, great turnout. Congratulations in particular to Alex for organising and MC-ing.

Sylv's eating's as impressive as his cycling! 2 starters, 3 main courses and 4 deserts. Certainly no food got left unattended on our table for long  .

Nice to see I made it to the dinner last night, well my portrait did at least! Was that taken at the Ballbuster?
So . . . can someone fill those that couldn't attend in on the evening please. Who got what award, and can we see the photo competition winners, pretty please :D

Lucy.

I'll put the photo category winners up later when I get a chance to resize and load them up.

If no-one does it before then I'll list the trophy winners from the menu too.

I'm wondering if we need an amendment to the club rules limiting any member to a maximum of one cross-toast per Annual Dinner? ;-)
