Olympic Road Race - London Tonight

From Surrey League:
[quote]London Tonight is the ITV News broadcaster for London and much of the Home Counties. We're on air every night at 1800.

In light of the decision to use much of Surrey for the 2012 Olympic Games Road Race, London Tonight would like to invite a cycling club to road test the route from Buckingham Palace via Box Hill and Weybridge and back to the Palace to get their reaction to the route.

The plan would be to use a combination of helmet cameras and our own kit one Sunday in the coming weeks or months.

Would you mind circulating the offer to cycle clubs in your league to see if anyone would be willing to take part?

Unless ITV is offering to have the roads closed, the prospect of riding through Fulham, Putney, Hampton Court and up the A24 on a Sunday in spring/summer is pretty unattractive.
