Just seen this week's CW. Usual 20-page sportive guide but ours isn't mentioned under June 5th. Surely that would have been an ideal place to have it featured, particularly as Dragon is marked as sold out and people might be looking for alternatives.

Joking aside, it is the annual feature on the year's coming up sportives, showing each month's events. I'd have thought it'd've been the natural place to have ours mentioned, especially as it is practically our local mag. Still, anyone who didn't get into the Dragon can always schlep out to Buckinghamshire for the Chiltern 100.
Say what you will about sportives, and I know they don't necessarily appeal to pure road racers or time trialists, but like Mr Armstrong in his Postal heyday they do seem to have attracted a great many people to our sport, myself included ;)

Huw kindly delivered 750 flyers yesterday to put in bags of people joining the the Spring Onion ride later in March. This is being organised by Dudley Samuels from Luciano cycles. If anyone needs in attending rides and needs flyers please contact Huw. cheers, Alan
