I'm still in a state of shock/disgust.

Have any of you ever been this unlucky?

A very well written tale of bad behaviour and poo. Courage in the face of adversity.

I shan't share what I'd like to do to the street walking pet owning populous. It ain't pretty

I thought it was an example of the dangers of assuming anything, especially on the roads and with workmen

I agree though - people should clear up after their dogs  We always did our best to with our dogs.

Yeah, I guess it's another rude awakening about how dangerous the roads (and grass verges) can be.
The thing that annoys me most is that i'm not a reckless person, I used to ride a motorbike around London as part of my job so have seen enough bad things to take extra care. I waited until he'd stopped before I started going again. When his mate shouted and there was a long pause, I actually thought he was waiting for me.

Next time i'll just ride on the pavement instead.....

There's something evil about dog poo. Possibly worse than human.

I would have showered the whole shoes with a pressure washer.

It happened to me once when I had to have a pee behind a tree. so thick and sticky I couldn't clip in so had to clean it off the best i could with twigs and a tissue. :(

i think people that don't clean up after their dogs should be moved with their dogs to a small island with other people who don't clean up with their dogs. :D

together they can live in a smelly dog poo wonderland going on to each other about inconsiderate cyclists who don't pay road tax and shouldn't be allowed in the park disturbing their dog walking.

Unfortunate Dan.
I had an experience I've tried to forget for over 25 years.
We where having sprint races up and down a street when having a 10 metre lead in one race, raised both arms in celebration.

Unfortunately the front wheel slipped from underneath me and I hit the black stuff on my right side, sliding along using my face as a brake.

Fortunately for me before I hit a car, I was slowed down by a pile of big smelly poo. Oh how I entertained my friends.

I didn't swallow any, but I had poo in my mouth, on my teeth, in my hair and all the way down my side to my trainers.

I didn't know what to do so sat there providing the entertainment.

I think I took off all my clothes and trainers and put them in the bin and went home in tears for a long bath.

I don't think I kicked any dogs after but it wasn't easy not to.

Unfortunately the most effective material for removing dog poo from shoes is living room carpet.

Cat poo is nae much better, and seemingly in equal abundance. Don't give the dog owners all the mither ;)

I too have a sad tale involving poo. Many moons ago I was playing rugby on a cold wet Saturday afternoon and being a glory hunting, try scoring back (for those familiar with rugby terms) had a mazy run breaking 2 or 3 tackles a few side steps and breaking the oppositions defence crossed the try line and decided to showboat with a try scoring swallow dive........yip you guessed it, straight into a pile of dog poo. I might add this was 15 min into the game and for some reason no one tackled me for the rest of the match.
