Bye Bye Blighty

Postby Tamar » Tue Mar 29, 2011 12:47 am

On 6th April Keith and I will be pedalling out of Croydon on our shiny new semi-recumbent tandem to see where our wheels take us.

It would be lovely to see our friends before we go, so, if you’re free, please join us for a few drinks at the Lindfield Sports & Social Club on Sunday 3rd April from 6pm – 10.30ish.

The Social Club is at Lindfield Road, Addiscombe, Croydon, CR0 6HN. Lindfield Road is a cul-de-sac and to find it you need to go right to the end of the cul-de-sac, then turn right at the very end, straight past the garage of a private house, along a narrow lane, to the social club building behind the line of houses.

Let us know if you can make it so we can give the club an idea of numbers – ta.

If you want to follow our trip then we’ll be doing a sporadic blog of some sort on the Bec’s website (www.beccyclingclub.co.uk). I’ll probably also stick a few pics on facebook from time to time and might even drop a note here on the forum. Initial plans are to head to the Black Sea and then...who knows. If all goes well we could be gone some time.

Hope to see you on the 3rd, if not then see you when we get back.

Tamar & Keith

Farewell to one of the most agreeable of Addiscombe members, I'm sure you'll be flying the colours through the many coutries you're passing through.
I'll be there to wave goodbye.

Tamar, thought you'd both already departed. Hope to be there, if I forget to turn up have a fantastic voyage and may you also have few arguments.

Was lovely to see a good number of fine folks out to wave au revoir to Tamar and Keith. That tandem of theirs is a beaut! Safe travels y'all

Sorry we couldn't make it to the petit depart. Hope to be around for the big return, and am looking forward to hearing about the adventures and looking at the pictures.
