Impressive mechanical this morning...

I'd just pumped up my tyres and ridden about 50m, when there was a huge BANG from the rear wheel, followed immediately by the wheel locking up. WTF? I thought.

Had a look, and about a foot long length of the rim bead had parted company with the rest of the rim. Time for a new rim and some wheelbuilding practice I think.

Lucky you'd only done a few metres and weren't half way in.

I actually thought you were going to tell us your theories on the start of the universe, or our one at least.
