[quote="Toks"]Aww bless! someone on the Kingston Wheeler Forum (nice people by the way) is not entirely happy about Paul wins. And has alluded to fact Paul might just be a 'one trick pony' -

Yeh that was quite funny

Especially for those who know Paul has a thing for ponies

Well done anyhow

Btw it was me who originally gave some details on Paul personnally to Nick from KW, after he messaged me about the "Caterham incident" at Dunsfold - didn't think it would end up there for all to see though!

Well done Paul!

Another stylish solo victory! Your method of winning also seems quite handy for avoiding the sprint crashes.

See the forum posting on Bigfoot CC, 10th place rider was taken down in the crash but his bike slid across the finishing line, not the most comfortable way to gain a point.

Better to have one trick rather than no trick, like most of the bunch

Reminds me of a scene from Pulp Fiction....

Firstly, congrats to Paul for a great ride.

Also, I've spoken to a friend who was went down in the crash. Apparently it was caused by a mechanical, something going through a riders wheel. You can see in one of the photos a rider un-clipped in the centre. I'm told this was just before he hit went over the bars. That was enough to get him airlifted to hospital but is apparently doing fine.
Only one broken collarbone I think and it was a repeat injury. The guy already had a plate in his shoulder and now needs surgery. Ouch. Mostly scrapes and battered equipment so I hear. Speedy recovery to all involved.

Quite. I'm failing to see how attacking the bunch and being good enough to ride to a solo victory keeping a chasing pack at bay on repeat occasions is a negative.

Well done indeed Paul! Another fine ride and good to see people like you attacking instead of sitting in the bunch like 95% of the field.

Nick the rider tucked away was less well known than Sylv. He may be the brother of an American singer with a slow car .......

Well done Paul

You set a great example for us 40+ers

I wonder if the club Captain might want a piece of the action?

Fancy Goodwood on the 26th April Mr C? :D
