On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!
[quote="Jon Hemming"]Anybody got any ideas for a Good Friday ride? ...off the beaten track for a Kentish adventure?
Definately up for a Good Friday ride. A really quiet lanes one (Kent and Surrey borders have loads of belters) might be an idea as if the weather's half decent then some roads particularly heading coastal could have a car or two.
Any thoughts yet on what folk are doing? I want to do a long one on GF if the weather isn't too grim, I can come up with a ride but is anyone else already thinking of something? Doesn't matter if it's not that long I can just tag something on at either end to satisfy my desires.
I'm thinking along the lines of a Lloyd Park start, then down to Ashdown Forest, east towards Lamberhurst(ish), north towards West Malling(ish), then back along Pilgrims Way and up whichever bit of the North Downs takes people's fancy. Will involve some looking at a map / getting lost / making it up on the way type stuff, and most likely a cafe or pub stop. Guestimate of 80 miles(ish).
Should be there. The 10 miles to Lloyd Park can take a variable amount of time with roadworks etc. though. Last time I did it it was easy to get evens though (downhill).
