We all came down with a stinker of a cold though in the week leading up to the TT so was undecided weather to bother tuning up for the TT on sunday
Glad i did as the weather was glorious down there and the course on lovely quite rolling and not too hilly for Cornwall B roads. Still had a sore chest and coughing a bit but the legs felt ok considering the cold and a week of clotted cream and skinners ale. Was an out and back course and as usual the return was all up hill into a nagging head wind but clung on to cross the line with a worse than usual testers cough which must have impressed my kids......
Completed the course in 38.54 which was 1.40 off the winner
5th overall and 2nd vet which got me a massive £8 cheque!
