Richard and I spent a very long day in East Surrey A&E with Becky and unfortunately that was not the end of it
As Keith said all the important bits are okay but Becky has got a plaster caster on her wrist due to a small fracture and a few stitches in her knee. At about 9pm Becky was then transferred across to the Queen Vic to see a facial surgeon about her teeth. They finally made it home in the early hours this morning and after catching up on some sleep Becky decided that the only way to escape Richards attempts at cooking was for them to head up to her parents house in Cambridge!
I spoke to Richard this afternoon who said that the swelling has already started to go down so hopefully she will be back on her feet soon.
He and Becky have asked me to pass on their thanks for everybody’s help yesterday, it was great to see that so many people were willing to lend a hand and help make a very difficult situation that little bit more bearable.
