Spoke to Kate today. Asked after Ed and she said he's fine and well on the road to a full recovery and will be returning to work as normal etc. Good news me thinks.

Message from Ed Thruston

Thank you for all the Good Luck messages everyone.

So far so good. I mananged to escape from hospital last Tuesday and am now recovering at home and watching the Giro d"Italia.
I've got my first appointments with medical consultants next week regarding the progress of my neck and leg, so I shall keep you all posted on developments.

I must admit, it is a bit tough on the weekends knowing you're all out riding and racing whilst I sit around like a lemon, but hey I plan to be back on my bike by September and racing the Ballbuster Duathlon this November.

God speed to you all and i'll see you real soon.

Much love. Ed.
