I bet Beckie was glad she opted for standing on the finish line to see you win instead of suffering in your wheel in the 4th cat group!
It was hard work in the scratch group.

I went off in the fourth group which included Paul H, Keith, Serge, Rob W and two others. We were suppose to have a few more but they didn't seem to materialize..!

We had our work cut out to catch a pretty strong group in front, which included Andy W, Steve Shadow, Jim B, Matt etc. and a few other strong 3rd's. After a few laps it was apparent that we were making no real inroads to the group in front and the E12's were catching us - we conceded defeat and the E12s caught us. The pace ramped up and managed to sit in when we eventually caught the chasing group with a few miles to go. The breakaway 4 had the race won - leaving the minor points for the mass sprint.

Steve, Keith and Andy W all in the top 10 - well done guys....

Roll on Accommodation Road next week....
