Cyclingplus readers - favour please

Postby Amy » Fri May 06, 2011 10:46 am

Hello all C+ readers, I wonder if you could locate a copy of C+ which has a review of cycle locks.

My friend is interested in one apparently recommended in a C+ review and he'd like to find out which one it is and read the review. He's happy to pay postage and return it to you when he's read it.

Many thanks

Amy

Amy, I bought C+ for the first time in a couple of years this month. I'm happy to send a pdf of the article if that helps.

If it's a lock he can leave somewhere then the Kryptonite New York Faggedaboutit is a great chain lock, if a little heavy. Otherwise their D-locks are all pretty good. Bikeradar has reviewed quite a few and googling one or two will lead to other reviews

[quote="Amy"]Oooh, ta - is it in this month's copy then?

That would imply that I'd got around to reading it. Nope not in this month Amy.

I did learn something reading the mag though - now that I'm in my 40s....
[quote="C+"]In your 40s you can put all your riding knowledge towards success in sportives

I'd never appreciated that sportives required such riding knowledge :? Don't you just ride your bike and follow the signs?

Thanks, Keith! Was it a good read? Oh must have been, you've learnt that you're supposed to be good at sportives! So see you on the ToBM? Thought you did OK the last time you rode it :D

And thanks for the other stuff, my friend would still like to read the C+ review...
