Blimey George that's fast on that course, well fast full stop but particularly on that course. Didn't you try hard enough on Sunday to have that left in the tank  .

Some good times in the mix, Keith on a standard road bike I'm guessing, chapeau.

Looks like a good Munnery/Hawkes season's battle in the making across 10s and 25s :D .

A storming ride by "brasso" Brent last night
- he obviously won't be having such a great season next year as he will not have time to train-owing to the amount of metal polishing that will need doing.
He will probably be suffering from RSI.

My first time on the '42 for a few years- I'm a few K's lighter and getting a bit fitter- tonights mission was to keep ahead of Ivan "Brasso" ,
for the last few 25's he has come passed me, even tho I had a 10/12 minute start, also on my tail were Mike Kaz and Paul Hone- none of them are slouches either.
Due to last minute changes we were off at 30 sec gaps..... that could make it tough.
Anyhooo- off like a rocket to catch young Paul, he's fast up them there drags- I caught him just before the turn then he shot passed me on the outside as I made a right hash of it!
The gradient then shifted in my favour and I was soon back in front.... I caught el Capitan and a few others then set my sights on getting up to Ian P, needed another couple of yards tho.
I was pleased to not be overtaken this time as well.
The road surface was a lot rougher than I last remembered and made for a right boneshaking ride, so much so that I couldn't read the speedo for the flying finish- luckily the digital toys record all that for me.
