ECCA E2/10

Postby George » Sat Jun 04, 2011 6:34 pm

Up to Cambridgeshire this afternoon for the ECCA 10 mile tt on the fast E2 course on the A11. It was a beautiful warm sunny day, only thing was the wind was blowing a gale.
On the out leg South to the fourwent ways turn the wind was behind and blowing me along quite nicely although the speed wasn't quite as mega quick as I expected. I tried hard on this out leg to get as much speed as possible and it was quite hard.

Then round the turn and into the teeth of the wind all the way back to Six mile bottom for the finish, a couple of the drags were tough and I felt I died a couple of times, for some reason didn't quite feel on my game today as I wasn't as powerful as usual.

Still quite happy with my time which is only 11 seconds slower than my earlier season PB
20.43 :D

Can't wait till the F20/10's I've got coming up, hopefully a good day could bring a 30mph average

Great time George, that wind was horrendous and I died several times in my 30.

Seeing as you both died I'll send two wreaths up to the Cronx area- take yer pick

That should get you both fired up to give me a kicking in the evening 10 :(
