[quote="Ian MunneryA1size"]selle italia SLR -TT, no probs with the gooch at all with that one.

I had problems with the girth of that  , Arione TT has a narrower nose and fits me better so depends as with all saddles from bits to bits.

I now know that my saddle isn't ideal for longer TTs. And that it's important to pack carefully before you set out.

(Jamie say's this is especially important when riding a unicycle  )

If the nose is the problem then the no nosed Adamo might be the answer to your shuffles. Apparently you can cable tie the rails in thus reducing girth . . . but I don't have a problem with that!

Ian- Thankyou If its not too late i would very much like to take you up on that offer of trying out your saddle, havn't asked Jon yet and if he doesn't mind could you hand it to him tonight and i'll pick it up from him in Beckenham. Speaking to someone else who races half IM also swears by them but it did take him a few times to get used to it
Andrew- the saddle i use on my TT bike is the specialized toupe i think which has a slightly wider nose than most standard saddles. Its been fine up to now but i havn't ridden much more than 1h using the skinsuit. Its been ok on up to 3h training rides on the TT bike using normal bibs though
It took until monday morn before i fully regained feeling in the whole area between the legs-ouch!

Good time for a debut 50 Carl.

When I first built up my current TT bike I fitted a standard SLR saddle and did some early season spoco events, 10s and 25s, all seemed fine. Then I did the Charlotteville 50 and lost all feeling in the little fella for about 3 days. Switched to an SLR T1 after that and not had any such problems again.
