Free breakfast

Postby Jon H » Fri Jun 17, 2011 11:49 am

For those who commute into London.

Free Bike Breakfast
Wednesday 22 June cycle by St Paul’s Cathedral for a free breakfast to celebrate Bike Week 2011. Whole Foods Market will be giving delicious homemade pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt and more! And Starbucks will be providing a caffeine fix to start your morning on the right foot.
The event aims to promote cycle safety and security and there will be free bike checks and advice from the City of London Police and the chance to exchange places with a lorry driver. Bike Revoluon will be on site providing free bike marking to help protect your bike against theft.

Was discussing bike marking at the weekend when I picked up the new bike. Not sure what the point is when every bike has a unique serial number stamped in it, shouldn't we just register the number rather than getting a postcode stamped?? Although lot easier to get the bike back to owners if postcode stamped, assuming the thief not ground it off.

Free Breakie sounds great, pity I am nowhere near there.

Free breakfast is usually on offer at various locations during Bike Week. There is generally a stall on Narrow Street, although I have to eat something before I leave the house (not when I'm nearly in work), so I don't bother.

And what, may I ask, is wrong with two breakfasts?
