Hi Nick, good to hear you are back on the bike.

Phil is still the man you want, if you send him a pm (Phil N) then he'll send you the bank details to set up a standing order, alternatively there is a membership form on the website - http://www.addiscombe.org/membership/

Club nights don't really happen anymore as no-one was going unless there was a special thing on. Joyce was opening up for a couple of CTC folk rather than club members. A bit of a shame but that's the way it's turned out. We still have the room on reserve so it can be used for things, pilates was run weekly for quite a while and was popular.

Just a thought are membership forms still held at the cafe?

Also I wish to replace my old/small kit, can i still get my discount @GB's, even though I have not filled in a form yet? I wanted to purchase these items today or tomorrow ready for the CR on Saturday.

Thank you

I don't believe there is a discount on club kit. although when I bought mine I got some other stuff at the same time and got a discount on that on the basis "if you weren't a member why would you be buying the kit"!

From what I remember the gear is 41 quid and members get 10% off at gb so in theory it should be 4.10 cheaper but I bet its not. Got to buy some myself so I will ask, but need my card first.

They are very good at GB's, I saved more the 10% when I purchased my bike, kit and then new shoes, It was around 18%.

I am going to call them and explain that I have not got a card as i have just rejoined as a member and hopefully this will be sufficient.

Keep you posted
