Who's doing what?

100k Brass Monkey ride tomorrow from Coulsden at 8.30.

I've done it before and it's a great route, nice and steady. Weather looks iffy so I'm going to decide in the morning. Anyone else planning on doing it?

That's exactly what I was gonna do til I saw the forecast. I've raced there in the wet before... we ended up going slower than a club run because it was so treacherous!

Tim Coales and I doing this one.

Weather's looking a bit more promising now mainly dry according to the Met Office http://www.meto.gov.uk/weather/europe/uk/southeast.html

See you at the cafe.

Good Man Tim, I won't be racing, but seeing as its only 15mins away I'll pop down and give you some support. It'll be quite a big field tomorrow if its not raining. See you up there :)

Before I turn up. What the heck is this ride anyway.

Brass Monkeys makes me thing that I will be getting cold for some reason. I guess its the standard 100k hilly ride through surrey hills etc.

I shall be huffing round slowly on the clubrun, dreaming of sunny summer days.

Yep I'll happily be your DS for the day. If its a really big field you've definitely gotta stay in the top 15 positions at all times. Try not to do too much work unless your in THE breakaway; then sit in and put your fast twitch fibres to work for the sprint. Hopefully you'll make 3rd cat and then me, you, Marek, Max, Richard & Neil (soon to be 3rds), Brian and Huw 'the mile cruncher' Williams can form a good team for the ACC promoted road race on the April 1st.

PS. Graham when are you gonna start racing?
PPS. No pressure yet, Yohan :D
