Toks - I gave up racing (mountainbiking cross country) about 12 years ago after every ride became a training ride and I stopped enjoying cycling. I'm in denial about wanting to start again, 'cos I know that if I do, I'll get all obsessed about it at the expense of job, relationships and everything. Or something like that

Tox,

Would love to have a go quite soon. Myt main focus is doing the sportives in late May at present, but there is no reason why I can't mix in a couple of races.

I just need to get a racing license and start. I sent off a form for the time trial next week.

Bit skint just now, so the license will have to wait until pay day, but after that I should be able to have a go.

I will have to quiz you when I get a chance. Its all a bit dauting at first.

Ta,

Graham.

The club run is still on tomorrow and likely to have 15mph and 17mph groups, are there any offers to lead a stedy 18mph group out?

Alex.

Ian, Chris or I will probably lead out a steady 18mph.

As long as there is no speed merchants hiding in there!

All the best

Gavin.
