Very nice ride with Grahame and Locky around lanes that I don't normally get on though I've been over most of them at least once before.
It felt like a spanking pace to me with Locky doing his usual off the front whenever the pace slackened slightly but I only really got dropped on the descent down through to Pratt's Bottom (sounds rather nasty to me but apparently the kindest village going - they've been feeding their one and only homeless man - hopefully he's been rehomed now). And no, I didn't touch the brakes at all. It's frustrating - I don't have the strength to push up the hills at the mo and then to have to work hard to stay on going downhill...
Locky stuck like a burr to Grahame's back wheel
Back home in good time to shower and get the train to Sutton to be early hopefully - suspicions were confirmed by a phone call from my mum that she was already waiting for me at least half an hour before we'd said...
