How did you know Sylv?

Didn't last too long, maybe a couple of laps with a guy from Kingston Wheelers. Horrible weather, rained for the whole race, at one point down the finishing straight it was raining so hard into the wind that it was hurting.

A break went away with a couple of laps to go, I thought the bunch would easily bring them back but they managed to stay away which was a good effort for them. I should have moved up closer to the front earlier on etc etc. Had loads left in the sprint but couldn't get around the guys in front of me that were slowing as would have required going on the grass, and as was so wet didn't fancy it.

Was good fun but my finishing positioning is appalling, out of practice. Kids came to watch which I think they enjoyed, but the promise of going to the beach afterwards ended up being beans on toast in the Aerodrome flight school cafe.

Cheers

Marek...

I got in a break with the kingston wheelers guy too he was super strong and one of only a handful game enough to try and break away from the safety of the bunch from time to time
As marek said, was foul conditions but i enjoyed racing there, will be back next year for more.....
