I'd imagine some of you are just winding down for the season and are planning to take a few days off now that summers come to an end. Well...don't take too many days off coz you need to get that engine primed and ready for the number 1 ACC club event of the year. It will take place at Hillingdon Cycle Circuit this year on Saturday October 15th If you haven't been to Hillingdon before its in West London less than a mile away from Southall. Hillingdon has good parking facilities, a bar, showers, toilets etc The race will follow the format of previous years with a seperate A and B race. Both races start at 1.30pm. The B Race will be 35 mins + 5 laps: A race will be 50 mins + 5 laps

The B Race is for clubriders and inexperienced/novice/4th cat racers

The A Race is for experienced racers: 3rds and 2nds
There will be lots of prizes available
Positions 1st, 2nd, and 3rd from both races will recieve prizes
The most aggressive rider
The blingiest rider
The Best Junior
A woman's Prize
Veteran Prize

A first Aider will be there on the day (we've never needed one so far) lets hope it reamain that way
The circuit is very safe and easy to negotiate and they'll be lots of experienced guys to help you out and give tips on the day
If you're planning to race please put your name down for either the A or B Race

I don't mind giving anyone a lift over. Be great if someone with a van is going then we could get more bikes in it and more people in my car. Be great to get a good crowd there.

Nice one Ant. :D By the way anyone who is coming by car don't leave anything thats even remotely of value on show once you've locked up. There's always a chance some opportunistic hoodrat will make a smash and grab

I shall miss you Sean. I remember 2 years ago, you disappearing into the distance like a little white dot on an old telly while Adam and Sylv lapped me five times.
Hardest thing I've ever ridden!

Well, that's way better than having to ride behind them at any time

Just got back from the Scottish Highlands and islands where the term hoodies refers to a type of crow

Just in case you ask, Toks, no, I won't be doing this - prefer to be out in the countryside than somewhere like Hillingdon...

Now a tour... 35-40 miles a day, stops for lunch... tea at the hotel/b&b whatever... glass or two of wine in the evening with lovely meal... full-cooked breakfast in the morning (and I had porridge and black pudding - Stornoway is the best :D )
