Can I be the first to moan about having just bought everything and blah, blah, blah ...

Looks nice. Will it be ready in time for me to get a long-sleeved top for Tom?

Sylv

I like that more, though think the oversized lettering would date quickly - a bit like the 'www' gubbins on my current ACC tops. Without being too Gok-like, I'm not 'loving' the off-centredness of the vertical band at the front either. Sorry. An improvement, though.

Looks great, I like the asymmetric stripe and the positioning of the badge!

[quote="Sean Hogan"]....Most members here I'm guessing make a lot more money than the average ACC member and compared to other costs here SGD$135 (about 60 squid) ain't alot. The next time I'm over and hopefully ride the CR this the kit I'll wear ;-)Sean

Just to be clear, it's not my design (though I think I suggested the "BMC-esque" vertical lettering, so you can blame me for this if you don't like it ..). But credit for launching this process and putting it into action has to go to someone else .. (I'll wait for them to post).

Sorry if I posted this too early, I thought it was at an advanced enough stage already, but not going to committee meetings anymore I could be wrong.

Design has been through several iterations so no point everyone asking for amendments (remember what happened last few times this was discussed on the forum? that's right, nothing in the end). So the point which I liked about this time was to come up with a finalised design and product and present it to the club.

As I understand there is a test run of about 10 sets of jerseys/shorts that are currently awaited. And the Club Captain likes it :D

I said 'most' Dom, I'm making lot more but I'm mere canon fodder compared to the many in Anza onvery comfy expat packages.

Very pleased for you

I say bring on the new kit its long overdue. I'll probably buy a fresher version of the current one and the definitley the new one when it comes out. Before Christmas maybe?

I've only been at the club a year and though I own a S/S jersey and arms I don't have much kit that would need 'replacing' so I appreciate others will find it a bigger issue. However, I cycle 6 days a week and so get through quite a lot of gear in any given week; if new kit came along the old kit would simply be used at somepoint during the working week. So I say go for it.

Agree with the point about the giant lettering though, but I'd still buy it.

However, how much stock does GB hold of the existing kit?!!?

Why change it? The old style is instantly recognisable and highly visible. Just my tuppence worth.

Hey Dombo, I can't give you a really compelling argument as to why the kit should change. But most sport clubs would update their kit every few years; ours has been around for nearly ten years think it looks a little outdated so why not modernise it. whether you're a competitive ACC rider or club rider a bit of new kit always brings a nice moral boost. Anyway let see what happens :)
