OK, Like Andrew I see some sense in running with Maurice, he has a bi- annual training session there and even if prices are about the same he will have created a bit of good will with the hotel.

It seems to me that hotel bookings follow flights bookings so we'll maybe delay those until after the weekend to see if there are further firm intentions - in the mean time if people want to do their own thing re accommodation then it is not a problem but helpful if you let me know to rule you out. No disrespects to Amy but I prefer not to share these days, but let me know if you prefer to share with A N Other and I promise to be discrete! 8)

Hi, I have witten to Maurice to ask if he is willing to arrange accommodation for us any who wish it. http://www.lanzarote-tour.com/lanzarote ... te_bay.php

At present I have as on board for the trip

Alan, John, Mark and Andrew with myself and Andrew agreed on Hotel

Marcus, Phil and Amy have expressed interest but as far as I know have not booked flights

My flights are as follows, and price with baggage and bike was around £250 and as mentioned previously hotel and transfers £400 - I believe this is based on a single occupancy. I have had a little interest with some others and have through Maurice invited other De Ver cyclists to join us - I will also canvass the over the hill gang and some other networks as I believe that the more the merrier and I don't see this as exclusively ACC, just a ride among friends. I hope this clarifies as much as is currently known. Feel free to add comment and ideas and prod others into action should you wish. Lastly I have added a commentary on Lanzarote weather for February

London Gatwick (North Terminal) to Lanzarote (Arrecife)

Dep 07 February 2012 07:40

Arr 07 February 2012 12:05

Flight 8683

Lanzarote (Arrecife) to London Gatwick (North Terminal)

Arr 14 February 2012 16:45
