This is a great event and very kid friendly so even if you are not racing bring your kids along (maybe let them have a go at racing)

Sylv

Thanks for your offer of help on Saturday 26 to set up the course.

I will get in touch with you and George next week to agree transport from Croydon to Penshurst.- I need to see how much room in my wife's 4*4

From Bikeradar

[quote]Witnessed one really bad event when a rider from ELV punched an Addiscombe rider who didn't get out of his way. It was really egregeous

I heard nothing about that.

There's a guy on there moaning about not being counted and having his number hanging off. The only two I knew about were 212 and 213. 213, very "helpfully", shouted his number each time he came through right when I was trying to memorise and then recite the numbers from the whole group slow enough for Tom & Grahame to write down.

At least Sylv made it easy to see who was in the lead. Very considerate.

From bikeradar
"Presumably punchee took the puncher apart after the race? Or had a word with the Commissaire to get him banned from the sport?"

No i reported him but he only got a warning. I COULDN''T get out of his way not WOULDN'T it was ugly at the end we had words i'm glad i walked away and reported him rather than throwing a punch. In my limited cx racing experience i feel cx racing is more aggressive this season or maybe i've been unlucky to experience two very over aggressive incidents in two races
He did appologise later

Good for you Carl, for walking away,.. as Ghandi said, "An Eye for an Eye will make the whole world blind" - hope you were not too badly hurt, :(
