Photo Competition to enter - Trophy presented at club dinner

Hello folks. We have a photography trophy which is up for grabs for all of you to win.

How it works:

- The competition is open to all club members.
- Entry is limited to ONE PHOTO PER MEMBER. Please select your best and send it to me.
- You have to have taken the photo yourself in the last year or two.
- Photos entered must have never been entered in to a competition before, impossible to control fully so please be honest and don't cheat your fellow club mates.
- Photo MUST BE CYCLING RELATED. This doesn't mean it has to have a bike or lycra clad cyclist in it, or be of a race, but it must be related to cycling in some way.
- Email your entry to me at the following address (replacing the bits that need it with the obvious). andrewgreen23 [at] btinternet [dot] com
- Please resize your photo if needed to keep the file size down to something manageable that won't clobber my email, say max size approx 2mb.
- Closing date for entry is 31st December.
- If the number of entries received is above a certain figure then the committee will trim them down by blind vote (not being told who's photo is who's, not with their hands over their eyes) to about a dozen or so.
- The final photos will be displayed on the projector at the club dinner throughout the meal with voting forms on the tables. At some stage during the evening just put an x in the box of your favourite. They're collected and counted just before the prize presentation starts and the winner is announced and presented with their trophy.

Talking of which, Sylvain returned the trophy to me (so I know he won it last time i.e. 2010), but it has no names engraved on it since 2008.

So does anyone know who won it in 2009? Was it Mr Green Snr.?

Hey stop being funny. I remember seeing some great Palace pics from you Ant. And I havent' seen you Jon on a bike this year, so you must have had time for it.

Ant took some great photos at the Bletchingley road race too.

Photos are bike or cycling related that doesn't mean of a race and could be something that just happened to occur when you were on holiday or walking to work that made for the perfect photo.

The vote is by the attendees to the dinner so not necessarily the best technically but a unique look at something. It is truely open to, and winable by every club member.
