As someone who perpetually suffers with forgetting names, which I can only attribute to a misspent youth, it would be really helpful if to kick off 2012 we urged new and old members alike to upload a face pic against their profiles (ideally their own).

I should probably know alot more people by name by now and as a regular 'viewer' of the forum this would really help me work out who I ride with. Obviously this would be very handy for new members too as the club is so large.

That said I have found that most people are polite enough to respond to Ian, or Steve when I say hello.

I can't be the only one who's this crap with names?!

Yes, nice one, Steve, I'm crap at names too. So yes, a user name that allows us to identify you and a photo - it's in the rule somewhere.

A three-quarter rear view taken from the side might be better for id-ing people on the club ride. Although judging by me feeble efforts on Saturday's CR a long distance shot of people's bottoms would help me identify who i'd briefly tried riding with.
