Hmmm...Although in the spirit of Agreeableness, no reason not to offer a conciliatory slice and cuppa to atone for some of my more obnoxious posts on this and other subjects.

Perhaps because he did test positive.

Tested positive - and failed to get a retrospective TUE, surely.

Oh no - I'm doing it now.

The last bit, is raising a few questions

Following WADA’s request, the Cologne Laboratory reanalysed three other urine samples provided by Mr Contador during the 2010 Tour de France. The bodily samples of 22, 24 and 25 July 2010 showed further clenbuterol concentrations of 16pg/mL, 7 pg/mL and 17 pg/mL respectively. A blood sample was also taken on Mr Contador on the morning of 20 July 2010. Such blood sample also contained clenbuterol at a concentration of around 1 ug/mL

Ah. 1μg/mL is more significant. Seems a very unlikely drug for a climber to use in-season though.

Ullrich Stage 8 to Arcalis in the 1997 Tour de France. He should have saved the weight and removed the inner ring. Legendary

8. Cadel Evans (AUS) Davitamon-Lotto +11' 55" - has always been clean.

Re Armstrong, he should be lynched.  ... Guilty as Sin! I feel sorry for Contador, watched the press conference he made after the announcement on Youtube and he seems innocent. I speak fluent Spanish, so listening to him in Spanish, what he says makes sense. But in the end only he knows the truth I guess!

But Armstrong is different, all his lieutenants have come out and blasted him AND yet he gets off FREE, how does that work out eh? Smells of corruption :!: :!: :!: :!:

I dont think Contador took clenbuterol in or out of competition - it would be too risky taking this anytime of the year. If the Spanish are prepared to dope themselves, I think they would be more than happy to dope their cattle as well.

I reckon he probably did blood dope though.

I see the spirit of the Spanish Inquisition is alive and well. Whatever happened to innocent til proven guilty? In the spirit of agreeableness, a slice of cake and a cuppa for you too when Lance goes down.

To be fair, he's given the benefit of the doubt to:

"8. Cadel Evans (AUS) Davitamon-Lotto +11' 55" - has always been clean."

ok...i've done my best to hold my tongue...but i just can't anymore. what are you people thinking who all say that contador 'probably didn't do it', 'the amount was too small' etc etc etc....here's the point...the guy is paid millions of dollars a year...he is a PROFESSIONAL....and yet he eats some piece of steak provided by some guy? A piece of steak he knew came from Spain...a country that he knew has a history of pumping their beef cattle up with clenbuterol. I guess you all think that rio ferdinand was treated harshly when he got 8 months for being 'uncontactable'? These people are professional athletes. They are paid to be professional. The proceedures are in place within teams to make sure this stuff doesn't happen...they have no excuse...
