Really enjoyed the first opening TT of the year this morning :D
Was a beautiful sunny morning but a bit chilly early on, poor Mohammed was shivering at the finish with no gloves or leg warmers brrrr
Well Addiscombe won the team prize with a great ride by Keith absolutely killing his pb round here by a couple of minutes great ride on a road bike I\d say :D Galeb just snuck in for the team win with a good ride too!
Mo's first race and a few lessons to be learnt and he will only get faster in the future :D
Took ages for Johns time to go up on the board I was almost about to go out in my van back round the course to look for him
Happy with my ride, would have got the better of 3 or 4 other riders if I hadn't been slowed to an almost stop by a tractor traffic jam but even without the excuses I'm very happy with my ride today.
Mo that car park looks very slippery to me

+1

It was a good ride out today as George said, but windy! ...I had a feeling I will get a puncture today, and I did  , but fortunately it was after the race on my way back to HQ. I think its time I get new tires, too many punctures recently! Me and John had to head back home early so did not get to see the awards...Good to hear we at least got the team win!

Well done folks and a cracking time on a road bike Keith.

I abandoned my plan to ride out to give a shout as it was a bit icy here when I got up, thought things would be okay but didn't want to take any chances. Glad some others made it for moral support.

True :) ...well it was the last few miles where I really felt the wind and where I should have probably tucked in and stayed low

Well Addiscombe won the team prize

 With so many Wheelers (11) & Redhill CC (9) entered, I'd not even given this a thought.

Well done lads- its a bit early season for me, all that gurning and snot!

Nice "O" face from Keith and perhaps the first tongue-out photo-shot of an ACC rider in action this year, a pointy hat and some tri bars will take a few minutes off for sure.

Good ride Sunday lads.

Good to see we won the team event, no thanks to me then... I had a shocker in that TT! I bonked hard in the last 5 miles, even earlier.... not happy with that time at all, digging in hard for the TG/Box Hill ride on Saturday didn't help as I really felt it on Sunday.

I planned on taking it easy on the Saturday club ride until Keith told me "It's all training!" (wish I never listened to him now! jejeje LoL) ... well I bl@'dy hope all this training pays off eventually :!: :!:

Kudos to Mohammed on a great ride for first TT I believe, knew you would kill it mate! and also Keith on a PB! Well done to all! :D

Look forward to my first 25 mile TT next!

WELL DONE TEAM ADDISCOMBE!! Although it looks like you guys took second place after all which is still impressive. The bellow is from Redhill CC report:

[quote]Apologies to Addiscombe CC who were announced as winning team on the morning's provisional results. In the final count, Kingston Wheelers took the top team spot with just 36 seconds separating the two (2h19m0s and 2h19m36s).

P.S.
I'll be joining you soon in TTs and RRs.
