If people are worried about "experience" none is required. In a TT you don't have to interact with the traffic - just point people the right way.

As a participant, we really do appreciate people coming out to help at these events. The odd shout of encouragement does really help too - something like "pedal harder you fat git" works.

Thanks Aodan. I've swapped Ivor to results spotter to put you at the Farthings Hill slip road. You stand at the point to make sure no-one goes under the underpass and goes up the ramp instead so riders will come towards you and then to your right up the drag to the elevated roundabout. You should be able to get a few shots here (approach/side on) and the background will be a bit more trees rather than just busy main road. About 17 miles in you may get a bit of gurning.

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered their services, I am very grateful as will all the competitors - entries are coming in.

I will email a helpers pack next week which will include event details, course maps, marshal details including maps showing your part of the course and where you stand etc. It should all be self explanatory but do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Happy to help out if you still need bodies Andrew. I'm pretty clumsy so I would put me on pushing off duty; other than that, anywhere you want.

Not a problem if you've already got the volunteers you need, but I'll keep it on the calendar for now.

Thanks Neil. It would be great if you could lend Spike and Nic a hand at Southwater as an extra marshal there is helpful due to a couple of turn offs from the roundabout to save the checker having to do two jobs. It will also allow an emergency cover if required.

Full house of helpers and entries coming through my letter box, a very happy organiser and I can now concentrate solely on the running of it.
