i need to see a dentist i thought this is the best place to get
some recomendation firts
so are u dentist ???
or Do you know someone good ??

i was told it is overpriced and not really good.

The one in Essendene Rd in Caterham is good. Otherwise i think there's one along the A23 in Coulsdon. somewhere on the left as you head south towards CSS. Both are NHS

TBH having spent far too many years going to private dentists there is bu99er all difference except for the magazines in the waiting room and the bill at the end. They all attend the same dental schools, getting in on merit, buy the same kit and answer to the same professional body.
In fact my best ever epxerience of the NHS was when I needed some very awkward root canal work - my then private dentist referred me to her specialist mate (let's call her Jane) who quoted me a grand after an eighty quid consultation. I then suggested to my dentist that she find somebody else and after much huffing and puffing she referred me to Eastman Dental Hospital, slightly longer wait of a month or so but I ended up with 3 consultants (including Jane who was a professor at the School) supervising a senior dnetist who did the work as part of her CPD. Three two-hour visits and over a dozen X-rays later I was presented with a bill of precisely zero.

Manor Park Dental Practice in West Wickham. They are good NHS. Not all are the same, I used to go to one down the road and their NHS was terrible.

How can you know whether a dentist is any good ?

That's what my dentist once asked me many years ago. And tbh I couldn't answer the question.

Luckily me and my dentist have been mates since primary school, so I have complete confidence in him. Plus he's always refused to accept any money off me, which is nice

before i move to croydon, visited one dentist and they charged me so much money for cleaning and to do two fillings i still remember like a nightmare from that day i am always leaving my dentist visitis to my holidays it is cheap and good as i go to doctor i used to years ago

i think this time if it gets worse i will have to start from somewhere close to home

My dentist friend tells me the difference between his NHS and private work is (a) time he can allocate (b) sometimes quality of materials
