Four of us ACC entered this nice friendly event put on by Tooting BC, it was a chilly morning with quite a nagging little headwind in places and as far as i remember not as good conditions as last year
I had scrubbed away the pain from my mind (and legs just) of last years ride on this tough hilly little number but they soon came back to hurt me again on that final hill before the finish line


Rupert Burbidge won the event in an amazing time of 51.16
I was 5th and got 1st vet prize ( should have been Niall Digby's but he got 2nd overall so it got passed on to me)

Rupert Burbidge: 51.16
Carl Ferri: 54.42 (20 odd secs faster than last year )
Jon Hemming:60.15
Ivor Hewitt: 64.49
Lucy Ashdown-Parkes: 67.04

Conditions were certainly not as good as last years event ... so I was happy to go 1min 22 secs faster than last year. 2nd fastest lady prize for me (or last lady )
