Great ride Keith, just a minute off George on your road bike :D .

Well done to young Tom for his first 10, held George off - just crossing the line as he was catching you.

Cheers

Thanks to all for helping, so glad the road works didn`t impact on the event. Happy with time on the grounds that it was my third race in 4 days! It would have been 4 in 4 had I not done a Sean Yates on the Sunday

Just want to add my thanks to all that helped out and made this event possible and to Jon H for organising the whole thing and sorting the weather. Great to see so many first timers, lots of women, juniors, and a field of twenty five! Wow!!

I've had better rides - first leg to the first roundabout was absolutely pants! Car stopped in the slipway when I started didn't help but I paid the price for getting there late and not warming up properly - I need at least 10 miles in my legs - and couldn't get up that first climb. I nearly got off and walked!! After that though things got a lot better; I warmed up and settled into a nice tempo and would have posted a respectable time...what could have been. Anyway, I've put down a marker down for the rest of the season. need to shed a few lbs and spend some more time on the turbo. onwards and upwards! :D

Are you sure Steve Rigby's time is correct?

Possibly not, still got to do another check. 30 second intervals and various people starting out of sequence doesn't make the timekeeping easy.

Ah, that's better! Only person I knew to take more than 40 mins to ride the Holmwood course was Tom Fish - when he was in his 90s...
