Woking Tour Series Tomorrow!

Postby -Adam- » Mon Jun 11, 2012 1:58 pm

Afternoon all,

Somehow my team has foolishly ended up on the start sheet for tomorrow's round of the Tour Series in Woking, and even worse, I have to go ride it!

I can't promise I'll be much to shout about, but the more cheers there are, the faster I'll go!

So if you can, please come down and support me and my team mates as we go toe to toe with the big boys... We just arrived back from two weeks of kermesse action in Belgium so fingers crossed we'll at least hang on!!

Race starts at 7pm, and as long as this weather buggers off, promises to be an action packed event as the circuit is up there with the toughest in the whole series.

If you can make it down, watch out for the boys in Blue and Black... that's us, Zappi's Pro Cycling.

Cheers,

Adam

TV exposure Adam, charge off the front as soon as the sighting laps are out the way and just bury yourself until your legs fall off  .

Well, that was really good fun - not sure Adam would agree but I'll leave him to write-up or not... The speed they went round that little course was pretty impressive especially as they zipped past so close to the rails where I was standing, gears clunking away as they changed - it was just a long line of riders rather than a bunch

Well worth going again, even if Adam's not there - though it was good to give Adam a shout everytime he came past (sorry, missed a couple of times). Saw a couple of Addies - Phil and son, PvT (blagged his way into the VIP area... again), Dave Kennett.

Well done, Adam, for riding it all.

It was really good fun to watch - mad speeds in the centre of a town. If they're back next year will definitely go again.

It's on the ITV4 tonight at 8:00pm.
