Old Tyres

Postby Marcus » Fri Jun 22, 2012 10:34 am

Making space in the garage (throwing out the junk) I have come accross - 3 sets of old MTB tyres and 4 sets of old road Tyres.
I have found that they are useless for hoola hooping, so why am I keeping them?

I use mine to play family quoits in the garden. Practised on the aged parentals as they don't move around so much but I can now stop a sprinting 11-year old in his tracks. With all the rain we've had it makes for a soft landing, which is good because with arms pinned to his side by the tyre he does go down with a splat.
