South Eastern RC 10 (G10/57)

Postby Mohammad L » Sat Jul 07, 2012 11:10 am

Couple of ACCers 2day at Broadbridge Heath for the G10/57. Fairly windy today. 2nd open 10 tt & did a 23:00 on this one (although I recorded 22:58) - an 'ok' ride in my books. Deliberately went easy for the first 3 mins & then wound it up.

Sorry I didn't hang around to find out Lucy, Andrew, Mark and Robert's times but I wanted to head back and ride the 35 miles home before the rain came - unfortunately I was caught and absolutely drenched by the time I reached croydon

Yep 5 of us out this morning, good turnout for Addiscombe :) .

Mark and I had the same feeling about today, we could of gone better but it could have been worse. We got a dry race though :D . I was off right at the tail end of the field and the first light spots of rain started spitting as I toodled back to the HQ.

Rob 24.07
Mo 23.00
Mark 23.34
Lucy 25.40
Andrew 23.48

Minor annoyance at one roundabout where a driver changed his mind late about the exit he wanted so I had to come to a brief stop without getting a chance to change down so had to honk off in 54x14.

Pete Tadros won in 20.05 beating Richard Prebble (20.35) in to second. Woodburn seems to be finally slowing down but still knocked out a 24.27 at 75 years of age.
