Again at Broadbridge Heath for this 25 course. Absolutely horrendous conditions - very heavy rain although not windy. Feet were soaked all the way around - not pleasant.
Three of us today although didn't see Andrew and Mark at HQ. Hardly warmed up - only 5mins ride to to start. Had to therefore back off in the first 5mins of the tt so I could get the legs going, then wound it up after moorhead r/bout - paced it really well and my average speed kept increasing until the finish.

Eventually crossed finish with a 1:00:43. Pleased with that as it was my first open 25. Hope Andrew and Mark got on well. Cheers, Mo

Excellent ride Mo and well done for doing it, proper tough man.

Mark and I were both DNS. I got up and saw the rain and sent Keith my apologies. I've spent too much on petrol this year to splash about in puddles and didn't fancy it again.

Exellent well done Mo
Drove the 70 miles to the outer reaches of Essex for my Spoco 47 (course was changed from a 50 last min due to road works) . Rode the 3 miles from HQ to the start in monsoon conditions only to be turned back-they rightly cancelled the event, i could hardly see where i was going it was so bad- there were rivers running across the small essex lanes!

Sorry to hear that Carl at least I had the opportunity to ride so didn't have a completely wasted journey.
