I've looked on the CTT site and there's no startlist yet. Also is it a G or an H?

Well, I'm hoping you'll all meet me at Wallington Green... On the Green itself best as I'll start off going through Carshallton if it's not too busy.

Yes, sorry I`ll meet everybody at Wallington Green.

If by any chance it`s absolutely persisting down-maybe I`ll get the train. Usually always early, so please don`t wait if I`m not there.

[quote="Andrew G"]Talk about old cycling and old bikes, ooh I think I can manage that :D . Actually I can go one better and bring an old cyclist! My Dad is going to join us but says he'll make his own way there at a gentler pace.

Got your Dad sorted with a guide now :D

I need to check with him if he's still coming and what his plans are - I have no idea and after Sunday's drenching he might have changed his mind and not want to come out with me again :) .

Amy, you are more than good to keep up with us fat testers  . Is there going to be 2 groups or all ride together at a pace everyone can cope with? My Dad's happy on a wheel on the flat but just struggles on the hills and has to go at his own pace up them - many hills enroute?

[quote]Lucy, might be an idea to find a railway station on the Waterloo-Guildford line and get a train to Esher - you'll be inside the circuit and only need to walk across the common to get to Weston Green.

Thanks Amy, that does look like the best thing to do :D Tao wants to come along, and make some noise! Plan to get there about 11, keep an eye out for us 8)

Oh I'm riding wit you lot, so as I thought your dad was coming alone, I suggested he meet up with the friend I abandoned and ride with him at an easy pace - my friend is very slow. They've already arranged a meet up.

No probs, Lucy. You can train it from Tolworth via Wimbledon - lots of space for Tao to run around, trees to climb, muddy ponds to fall into :D

I was surprised to get a pm from Roy, asking where the bike parking was!! I thought you'd have passed on that information

OK, folks, those riding to my parents', please remember to bring a lock, just to be on the safe side even though the bikes will be out of sight of passers-by and quite a way from even the footpath outside!

After leaving Wallington Green, I will go through Sutton via Westmead Road and Benhill Ave, across the lower end of the High Street and then up Collingwood Road and wiggle across to come up on the Cheam Road by the mini RAB from Gander Green Lane.

Hope we're not going too fast (whether this is for the benefit of me or Tom remains to be seen).

My mum was up and scouting around for us before 7am. I know this because I got the first call at 6.50am. The second was at ten past. Anyway, I now know where the crossing points are and the marshal with the rasta dreadlocks knows we are coming
