The latest desperate attempt to lure the public and his dwindling legions of "believers" into believing he is innocent!

The funny thing is he will pass the test with flying colours as he is in absolute denial and firmly believes he's done nothing wrong.

Gah!

I was going to cease contributing to this thread but that phrase always pushes my buttons. There is no such thing as a "lie detector". There are polygraphs but the reliability of these is variable and given a psychopathic/controlling personality (someone who believes they have done nothing wrong) they are pretty crap.

On a lighter note, check out this parody of a self righteous ANTI DOPING ad he made in 2001!

The original is below if you can stomach it!

Thanks to TV, a lot of people do actually believe that the things exist.

Related, in my research for the June trip, I came across this list of names to conjure with.

There may (just may) be a way out of this mess for the UCI: They can appeal.

No, not against the Armstrong lifetime ban, that is pretty-much nailed on. They could appeal against the "excessively lenient" sentences given to those cyclists who testified and were given discounted bans. They could then claim to have turned the corner and be fighting against doping in our sport.

I do not, however, expect this to happen whilst McQuaid is in charge, and Verbruggen is hanging around in the background.

I'm no expert on polygraph tests but if he is so utterly convinced in his own mind he's done nothing wrong, there's every chance he could pass one.
And if he's a tad worried, good old wikipedia has some tips:

cheers david, good articles and the 4 corners program is a good tying together of all the stuff from the usada reasoned decision.
