Dorking Sportive 14th October with Chris Boardman

Hi All,

Is anyone from ACC going to do this ride? I have put in for the 76 mile ride, which will be my longest yet.

Let me know if you are going and maybe we can have a get together beforehand for a coffee :)
Is training already for next year.......just dont touch me, everywhere hurts!

Hi Nick,

The ride was indeed hilly and great! I faced box hill after whitedowns hill and Leith Hill with 50 plus miles already in the bag! I smoked it! I must have overtaken around 50 people going up :) all I can put it down to is the personal training and ride we had the week before was good preperation for the task in hand!

The graffiti from the Olympic road race also egged me on, overall it was a great 76 miles with only one puncture on the front.

How are you mate? hope you are well?? Gutted I still cant get out on Saturdays due to work but I can't have it all!

Freddie :D

Good for you mate!

I'm doing well thanks, really enjoying riding with the club. Hopefully I can get out on a Sunday one week, so might see you soon. You never know we might end up in the training group if we keep up all this dedicated training and riding
