I have updated and posted the winter rides at the top of this thread, usually a little shorter but just as much fun. I have been asked to remind you that although all are invited the OHG was originally set up for the over 50's to ride socially and it was never intended to be training for races. There are now two groups fast and slow both on Tuesdays and Thursdays so there is a choice of ride and target average speeds have been set for each group. Please be aware of some sensitivity if you push the pace beyond these targets. Generally, at least in the faster groups, riders may step up the pace, particularly towards the tea stop and at some well known sprint points but it settles back afterwards. I usually try and do at least one of these rides each week and I know that those of you who are regulars or have joined us from time to time speak favourably of the company and the routes.
