Committee news - help needed

With the upcoming AGM and club dinner there are a couple of issues which we'd like to bring to the attention of the club.

There are two upcoming vacancies which we need to fill. If you think you've got what it takes to fill either of these roles, then the AGM is your chance to stand.
- Mountain Bike Secretary. After several years in this position, Aodan no longer has the time for this.
- Time Trial Secretary. Jon Hemming has had to leave the country for work (not tax) reasons.

PM is you want more details on either position. The successful applicants would get the chance to attend committee meetings - which is reward enough.

It is approaching the club dinner. If you won a trophy last year then I'm afraid we need them back to be presented to the next recipient (I don't know if George just hangs on to his). If you can drop them at Joyce's house then great otherwise PM for alternatives.

Also (and this is important) Joyce and Phil N will need some help organising the trophies and preparing them for engraving. If you haven't marshalled this year and ought to have then this could be your chance for a shot at redemption. There may be someone out there who would've won a trophy if they had fulfilled their marshalling obligations - helping out with trophies would do instead.

And as a reminder (or is it a spoiler?), the AGM is on Wednesday 5th December at 8:00pm at Christ Church Methodist, Lower Addiscombe Road.
