No, you just dictated it instead. Good race review and great win, Congratulation.

And he dictated it with a spelling mistake too.

Great ride Sylv. One lap Darren had a big lead, next lap you're out in front on your own. Massive margin.

Don't know where Tom came in the U12s but he enjoyed his first cross experience.

Give the man a brake.

Hadn't realised Tom had raced- he's turning into quite the versatile competitor. Rogan's son Alex rode with the "big ones" too, but his race was cut short by an encounter with a tree - hope ribs are less sore today. I think Peter had a puncture looking at the photos. Me, I'm having trouble typing.

Congratulations Sylv on a great win. I begged the photographer to take that picture of you running and me riding up the bank. We'll gloss over the fact you were lapping me at that point.

Thanks to everyone who organised a great event and course. After a start watching all the gridded individuals ride off, I was making reasonable progress through the field and even having happy 90's flashbacks to rigid mountain bike races through the doubletrack into the portage section. Once the berms in the mud started to develop, the course was getting considerably faster. The Fruit4London rider who wasn't Gabor came out of the pits, presumably after a bike swap, behind me at one point and helpfully completely overcooked it coming down the first descent, taking my front wheel out so I lost time. I think there may be some video of the crime.

Just as I made back the places, I smacked a rut causing a snakebite as I arrived at the clay climbing wall. A long carry home from the furthest point of the course and a disappointing end to the race. However a good day with great support and a home club victory to savour.

Great result Sylv!

Marshalling on the hill was at times hilarious - About 20 riders came off during the race with no injuries. Special thanks to George for his 'Its a knock-out' style commentary. We also saw some fantastic bike-handling as riders tried to negotiate 2 sharp left turns without coming out of their pedals.

He took quite a hit but started at the very back so was trying too hard to make up places. We can rebuild him!

Results are up. Tom got 8th (out of 23). So this year he's raced road/crit, TT, track (sprint, keirin, scratch, points, devil), hillclimb and cross.
