Favour request - bike loan

Postby Grahame » Thu Dec 06, 2012 2:21 pm

I have a couple of friends visiting from the USA this weekend, and want to take them out for a short bike ride (to sample the delights of Cake in Downe, probably). However, they are not bringing bikes with them, so I would like to ask my fellow agreeables if anybody would be prepared to lend us a couple of road bikes? We need a 60cm (+/-2cm) and a 50cm framed bike. I could collect on Friday or Saturday morning and return them on Sunday. Quite happy to leave a security deposit.

Any offers?

I have a Specialized Sirrus hybrid if it helps? Frame size large, in as new condition happy to lend no deposit required - any damaged fixed by your mates. Hope this helps.

Cheers Snoop. That might well fit that bill (assuming a conventional road bike isn't offered). Could I pick it up tomorrow (Friday) evening? with a view to returning it in at least the same condition on Sunday.

Cheers,

Grahame
