Can I borrow or Buy a 52cm bike?

Help required, my misses has signed up to do the East Grinstead Triathlon in May and I need to get hold of a racing bike around the 52cm mark. I would be willing to borrow/hire from a club member a bike they have lying around not using, or happy to buy for a relatively cheap price as to be honest she has already said that after the event she does not intend to ride it after.

If anyone has something that they think would be suitable, really does not need to be anything special then that would be great. Any help much appreciated, or even pointing me in the right direction to find something of this description before I enter into the lottery of ebay.

Your wife can borrow my old bike if it's any good to you. My old frame fitted with a compact and cheaper components for holidays. It's a 52cm top tube.

I've not seen you out lately Marek, perhaps you could look after the kids? Or you could take it in turns. Or your wife (sorry, I don't know her name) could come out on a Sunday ride. Or, she could team up with Carole, who is also looking for a babysitter and they could take it in turns Dammit, I knew we needed a creche. Take them to Redhill Raiders.
