Well with the loss of the thread I will start another!
Well, it was very well organised and I found it easily - I had been hoping that I would get lost! I may be picky, but for my first 25 I would have liked it warmer, with fewer roundabouts - not your fault Maria as I am eternally grateful that you enabled me to experience an hour and 8 minutes of hell at a time when most sane people on a Sunday morning are safely tucked up in bed!
About that time, I do feel that I could have done better and I am sorry my photo shows me smiling - clearly slacking at that point. I must admit losing the plot at a couple of points - I think that I was a bit bored and may be better suited to 10s rather than 25s.
I was intrigued by the funny fast guys with the noisy wheels and pointy hats - they all seemed to blast past me in nanosecond, falter somewhat on the hills and then off and off into the distance. Nobody said hello or even smiled - one did spit - so I take it that the TT etiquette is not too demanding on communication skills - am I missing the point?
Anyway, I have said that this is my year to try it all and I have put a mark in the sand and even if I never do another 25, I will be content that I hit my peak PBd and made my debut at the excellent ACC 25TT
A huge vote of thanks to Maria and the many others that helped.
