Warm up for a RAAM. Unfortunately been temporarily derailed by a breakdown of the following vehicle! Hopefully back on track soon.

Metal ride but then Hoppo's a nutter, in the nicest way. I've been following and I don't envy him that cold headwind he started in to, it's been bad enough commuting in it.

He's a nice bloke, as is his partner. Was parked up next to her when supporting George in the 12hr last year and gave her a bit of a hand when she needed it. He won the Sebring 24hr last month too.

Their back on the road and hoping to hit Lancaster at 10pm.

He's passed Tain - apparently without stopping at the Glenmorangie distillery. Unfortunately for him, it looks like the wind direction may be shifting in the next day or two meaning he gets a headwind both ways.

At pretty much exactly 2.5 days, he's pretty much at JOG. Now has about 3 days and 9 hours to break to record.

Not quite Phil, took 3.5 days plus to get to JOG. He's abandoned the record attempt due to too many problems on the way - follow car broke down so had to have unwanted enforced stop, also just about worst possible conditions with around zero degrees and a strong cold head wind all the way.

Good RAAM training.
